A new report from the College Board offers (once again) fodder for state-to-state comparisons—which the College Board itself rejects as a proper use of their data—but the data do offer some valuable points for considering state policies as they relate specifically to access to rigorous courses. . .
Many states still show that white (and more affluent) students have a disproportionate access to AP courses. . .evidence that schools often mirror the inequity that children suffer in their lives outside of school. . .
